My husband is in Jamestown at this time and called me this morning with the news of your mother's passing. It's been many long years since we've had any contact and am hoping you remember who I am. I am so sorry JoAnn, Alys and the entire family. Alys, you know how important you are to me and when I had the chance to meet and spend time with your precious Grandmother, it was a moment I shall never forget. She was such a delight that weekend I was there and her whole face light up a room. I wish I could be with you in NY. Please know you are in my thoughts, my prayers and in my heart as always. I love you and pray for your strenght as I am sure you will give a beautiful eulogy, as you are just like your grandmother!
