Helen Ruth Stimmell
Helen Ruth Stimmell, 76, of 18 Melody Ln., Russell, and formally of Warren, died May 21, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 20, 1933 in Brownsville, Pa., a daughter of the late James Edward and Helen Ruth (Stanley) Gehron. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was an avid crafter, and had attended the 1st United Methodist Church in Warren. She is survived by a son Fred (Holly) Stimmell of Russell; a daughter, Cheryl (Rocky) Chadwick of Harborcreek, Pa.; two grandchildren, Casey and Conor Chadwick of Harborcreek.; two brothers, Richard (Rose) Gehron of Isabella, Pa. and George (Barb) Gehron of Cleveland Ohio., and a sister, Joyce (Phil) Angelo, of Isabella, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Stimmell in 1986, and two brothers, Francis and Jim Gehron. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Hubert-Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 314 N. Main St., in Youngsville. A funeral service will be held there on Wednesday at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Warren General Hospital, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Russell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be in care of the family through the Hubert-Lewis Funeral Home.
