Sebastian "Busty" Foti
Sebastian "Busty" Foti, 73, of 38 West Virginai Blvd., died at noon Saturday (February 26, 2011) in the WCA Hospital.
He was born in Jamestown on January 3, 1938 the son of Josephine Foti of Jamestown and the late Anthony Foti.
Busty was the owner and operator of Reliable Garage for over thirty years. He previously was employed at JC Penney for over ten years, where he managed the automotive center. He was a past Master of Mt. Moriah Lodge F & AM and a member of the Jamestown Consistory.
He served with the US Army Reserves in the early 1960's.
Busty enjoyed boating on Chautauqua Lake, restoring old cars, coaching little league baseball, listening to jazz music, model railroad and was a former president of the Jaycees.
He is survived by a son Scott (Karen) Foti, West Senceca, a daughter Stacey (Joseph) Samaritano, Orchard Park, a grandson Nicholas Foti, West Seneca, two sisters Louise Pillittieri and Mary Ann Foti, an aunt Josephine "Jay" Foti, Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Walz Foti whom he married on June 2, 1962 in Frewsburg and who died on May 3, 1999 and by a daughter Stephanie Foti who died on August 28, 2005.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. John L. Kuhlmann, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home And Cremation Services where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 3:30 p.m..
